Pattern Recipe:
body:
seals fur grey hot melt glue
legs: hot melt glue
eyes: burned mono/hot melt glue
antenea: quil rooster hot melt glue
shell back: coca cola bottle.
tail: wobble blade.
feeler legs: hot melted glue
scissors legs hot melt glue
thread: mono
hook: size 4/0 any brand

Pattern History:
I was inspired by the schrimp of greg saunders. this one is more realistic, but however easy to tie for everyone

Comments / Special Instructions:
This schrimp is very easy to tie. It looks like real. It only takes practice and lots of patience

  2. Nice job Marty. Very colorful. I have recently begun to take out most of the color in my ‘Scapin’ Shrimp. For my area less color seems to work much better, our shrimp are not nearly as well marked as those that you imitate. Of course with the nasty oil spill now encroaching on my home waters here in Pensacola, Fl., hard telling what shrimp will look like in the future, assuming the shrimp have a future!
