Pattern Recipe:
Hook-TMC 9395 #6-10
Bead-Tungsten
Thread-Black 6/0
Feelers & Tail-Black rubber Hackle
Legs- Black Rubber Hackle
underbody-nymph Form or Lead
Abdomen-Purple Uni Strech
Abdominal Dorsal cover-Mottled thin skin covered with Clear Med. D-Rib
Wing Case- Mottled thin Skin
Thorax-Black Estaz or UV lights

Pattern History:
My go to stonefly on rainy dark bad weather days for Great Lakes Steelhead.

Comments / Special Instructions:
The abdominl cover is tied in at the junction of the abdomen & Thorax.
Pull the thin skin over the abdomen and to the rear, start wraping the D-Rib to secure.
This is the best way to give the fly the right seperation between dorsal & ventral parts. Markers just dont hold their color.
